About the Course
Join us for our first-ever Cruisers Academy Flotilla in the stunning Bahamas! This unique trip brings together several catamarans—each captained by a Cruisers Academy instructor—for a week of island-hopping through some of the most beautiful waters in the world. Starting from Nassau, we’ll explore the Exuma island chain, with its white sand beaches and vibrant reefs. While you’ll have the chance to sail, snorkel, and even lend a hand with anchoring or navigation if you’d like, this trip is also about kicking back and enjoying the cruising lifestyle. While we are happy to teach as we go, this trip will be designed more of an experience trip and will not follow a curriculum like our other cruising courses.
Think sunset swims, beach bonfires, and fresh meals shared with new friends in secluded anchorages. Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or just curious about life at sea, this flotilla is the perfect mix of hands-on fun and laid-back island adventure. No pressure, just paradise—sailing at your own pace, with support and good vibes from the Cruisers Academy crew.
Included in the price is all food aboard for 3 meals a day. Any food/snacks/drinks you'd like to enjoy on land will not be covered by Cruisers Academy. We will provide non alcoholic drinks aboard and invite you to bring along whatever adult beverages you'd like to enjoy. Because people have different drinking styles and tastes, we've found this to be the easiest and more fair approach for all!
Not included in the price is all of your travel to and from the boat, including plane tickets, taxis, etc. or any accommodation before or after your time aboard.
Board in the evening of Dec. 4 and hop off the boats the morning of Dec. 11, 2025 in Palm Cary Marina.
Temps in December in the Bahamas range from a high of 80°F to a low of 70°F.
